"Sustainability can be basically defined as “that which does not take more
than it gives.” It can be more specifically defined as, “Any culture, lifestyle, or practice that creates peace, invites and nurtures the full development of each human while producing food, clothing, shelter, goods, and services in ways that create abundance and health for all living things into infinity.” Penny Kelly

What does "conscious sustainable living" mean to you?

Can you think of any individuals, organizations or
communities that are living in conscious and sustainable ways?

What resources do you know of that help foster consciousness and or sustainable living?

These are some of the questions we have been asking ourselves after decades of experience in intentional community, community economic development, metaphysics and as students on various spiritual paths. It has been a fun and insightful process to collect Quotes on Conscious and Consciousness.

We have been inspired to co-found the Center for Conscious Sustainable Living (CCSL) as a non-profit membership organization dedicated to answering these questions and establishing model sustainable living demonstration projects.

We plan to publish, produce and distribute educational programs, products and services that may help individuals, organizations and communities realize more of their potential to be part of the solution to the many challenges that face us as a culture and as a planet. Our initial publication will be the Guidebook to Conscious Sustainable Living which presents The 7 F's of Sustainable Living. Other featured resources are available for sale at discount prices to UCSL members.

We also plan help to Ultimate Destiny Expand the Circle of Success and establish Community Empowerment Resource Centers equipped with Empowerment Training Mentoring Systems.

We will also serve as a catalyst for the establishment and networking among model Centers for Conscious Sustainable Living including a prototype at Lily Hill Farm in Michigan and possibly a prototype in Stelle, Illinois.

S.T.E.L.L.E. . . . A Model UniverCity for Conscious Sustainable Living
S
ustainable Technologies and Education in a Learning and Living Environment
Spiritual Transformation, Enlightenment, Life-long Learning and Empowerment

The community of Stelle, Illinois was developed in the early 1970’s as an “intentional community” by The Stelle Group based on the philosophy and world-view presented  in The Ultimate Frontier. Stelle was designed to foster personal growth and spiritual development and to conduct research and development on technologies
for sustainable living and sustainable community.

Today, Stelle is envisioned by some Stelle participants as a model UniverCity for Sustainable Technologies
and Education in a Learning and Living Environment. For many residents, Stelle is also a UniverCity for Spiritual Transformation, Enlightenment, Life-long Learning and Empowerment.

An overview of Stelle's decades of preparedness to serve as a model UniverCity for Conscious Sustainable Living are found in articles from Mother Earth News, Builders of the Dawn, and Home Power.

More information on how Stelle could serve as a model UniverCity for Conscious Sustainable Living is provided in an overview of various sustainability projects being explored in the community by the UCSL, Stellar Projects Limited Liability Company, Ultimate Destiny and the Center for Sustainable Community.

FREE! 62 Page E-book on How to Live a Greener Life

Warning!

This book is not for the faint-hearted - some of the ideas are quite revolutionary, with humor to match.

So if you're some weak-willed doofus who can't commit to anything or take responsibility for his own life, please don't waste the electricity to read this book.

On the other hand, if you don't just care about sustainability and the environment, but also about poverty, disease, rights, and conservation, you'll love this book.

An Inconvenient Doofus
Everything you always wanted to
know about saving the world
but were afraid to ask

You might have read articles on sustainability and green issues before so think you've seen everything. But let's get one thing straight from the start...

You've never seen a book like this before - I promise you!

First, it's free. Yes, you read that right - FREE!

62 pages (21,500 words) on how to live a greener life. And because it's free, if you like it, you can make copies to send to all your friends.

Secondly, to make the book not just informative,
but entertaining, it's absolutely brimming with beautiful photography.

Finally, it's crammed with humor - that off-the-wall British wit that's beloved around the globe.

Imagine Al Gore discussing climate change
in an art gallery with Monty Python.
Yep, you're in the ball park!
